Senior cornerback, Adrian Bushell, was awarded with the Big East Defensive Player of the Week, for his play this weekend against Florida International. He recorded 7 tackles and an assisted tackle for loss. Bushell is the first Louisville player to win the honors so far this season.
Bushell has been a stand out defensive back and all year long. Other than him fumbling on the kickoff return late in the game against North Carolina, he has played like the one of the best all around players we have. So far this season he is tied with Hakeem Smith for the second most tackles, with 21, on the team. Calvin Pryor leads the team in tackles so far this season with 28.
