Hatcher announces for USC, disses UK and UT in the process

As expected, five-star defensive end Jason Hatcher announced his college destination, and it was not Louisville. The Louisville Trinity star decided to pledge for Lane Kiffin’s Souther California Trojans over UofL and Tennessee. Hatcher cited a desire to get away from home as a primary reason for his picking USC, as well as conference uncertainty as a primary reason for not choosing Louisville. However, it was when Hatcher was asked about not choosing the Volunteers when he made some waves.
“I told them, ‘You lost to the University of Kentucky. You lose to UK, you lose to everybody because UK finishes last in the SEC every year.”
This comment, courtesy of MrSEC.com, is phenomenal on multiple levels, but my favorite part is it seems Hatcher was simply trying to explain why he did not choose Tennessee. Yet, he managed to land a double whammy by simultaneously landing a shot at UK, on top of the Vols. Whether it was intentional or not, well done Jason.
