Herbstreit talks Charlie Strong and Arkansas

I dont know if any caught College Gameday this morning, but if you missed it, you missed Kirk Herbstreit begging Arkansas to go after and pursue Charlie Strong. It seems that he really likes Charlie Strong but desperately wants him out of the Big East.
Desmond Howard was talking about how great the facilities in Arkansas were, when Herbstreit went on a minute rant about how Arkansas needs to call Jurich and at least talk about bringing Strong to Arkansas. Not only do we have to fight our own fears of Strong leaving us, but now we have to fight the media trying to push Arkansas to come after him.
Lee Corso then leaned over to him after the speech and said “He’s not going anywhere”, nice to see that Corso defending Louisville. Herbstreit responded by saying “I hope he doesn’t….you got to get out of the Big East though.

Oh NOW all the big schools want Charlie. After being in the ungrateful SEC for 10 years and winning national championships with Florida.Kirk why does Arkansas deserve Mr. Strong and not us. Maybe when Louisville and Boise st. both win a BCS bowl game this year the Big East will look alot better than predicted. I hope Charlie wont leave solely based on conference re-alignments.Louisville will land safely somewhere Charlie. Hold on for us.
