Louisville vs. Michigan 2015?

While roaming around on twitter this evening I came across a tweet that sparked not only my attention but what seems to of sparked all Louisville fans attention. Apparently Louisville is in talks with Michigan to play a home and home to replace the Irish dropped Michigan. The best part about this deal would be that the game in 2015 would be the first college football game of the year and at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium.
“@TheHonestJohn Louisville & Michigan discussing home and home series to fill Notre Dame void in schedule. 2015 opener at Papa Johns. 1st FB game of 2015!!”
If we are going to stay around in the Big East, we are going to need to strengthen our out of conference schedule tremendously. Playing teams like Missouri State is not going to cut it when we start playing in a run down conference. Playing Michigan would be a great way to boost not only our program on a national level, but will also boost our credibility, in that given season, if we are to make a push for the 4-team playoff system. Not to mention, if we start playing better teams, we open a whole other pitch in recruiting.
