Strong Nabs Big Recruit; Rankins Commits

Charlie Strong simply cannot be stopped on the recruiting trail. Tonight, Louisville’s head man landed three-star defensive end Sheldon Rankins and continued to add to UofL’s already stocked 2012 recruiting class. Rankins is a 6-3, 255-lb prospect from Covington, Georgia who chose the Cards over Wake Forest. Rankins also had offers from the likes of Boston College, Illinois, Nebraska, and many others. We are only a week away from signing day, this is a big get for Louisville.
