Teddy Bridgewater Rises In Latest Heisman Poll

Teddy Bridgewater is now officially in the talks for the Heisman! He skyrocketed to No. 7 on the ESPN Heisman Watch List this week. It is nice to have a Louisville player back on this list. The last time we had a player who was even close to Heisman material was Brian Brohm, and we all remember how fun it was to be Louisville football fans during that time.
Teddy Bridgewater has also been getting a lot of love from the experts on ESPN lately. After leading us to scoring on the first six drives against what is supposed to be an ACC contender, he definitely turned heads. To put on a show like he did, especially on a nationally televised game was impressive to anyone who was watching. They seem to be impressed with his ability to extend the play and be accurate at the same time.
If you’re going to take anything away from these first couple week of the season, it should be to buckle in and get ready for a great ride. As a sophomore, he’s already getting national recognition and leading this team to victories. We got something special here, and it comes in the form of a 6-3 Quarterback from Miami.
