With Agau committed, are the Cards done for ‘13?

After landing point guard Chris Jones earlier in the week, Rick Pitino then traveled to Omaha, Nebraska to make an in-home visit with 6-9 power forward Akoy Agau. Louisville was after a post player for the 2013 class to go along with guards Terry Rozier and Anton Gill, along with the newly committed Jones, but most UofL fans were focused on California PF Marcus Lee. However, that changed once Agau gave his pledge to the Cards.
Louisville now has four players committed from the class of ’13, which currently gives them the no. 2 ranked recruiting class, just behind the Florida Gators. All four commitments are expected to sign with UofL in November. With Agau on board, the question now becomes are the Cards done for 2013?
The short answer is yes.
Rick Pitino and his staff have filled all their needs in this class. They landed Peyton Siva’s replacement in Chris Jones, added some playmaking and versatile guards in Rozier and Gill, and added depth at the four spot with Agau. However, this is recruiting and as we all know, anything can and usually will happen. From Louisville’s end, the most likely thing that could change the situation is if a recruit becomes available late like the Montrezl Harrell situation, or a player on the current roster goes pro early.
Barring either of those situations, I would say the foursome of Chris Jones, Terry Rozier, Anton Gill, and Akoy Agau will be your 2013 Louisville Cardinals recruiting class.
Not bad. Not too bad at all.
